Overview
An online retailer shipping 3M orders a year kept overselling because four warehouses reported stock on different schedules.
We built a sync engine that reconciles stock movements across every warehouse in real time.
Challenge
Stock levels were updated by nightly CSV imports, so the storefront routinely sold items that no longer existed.

Solution
Event-sourced inventory ledger with Redis-backed reservations, conflict resolution, and per-channel stock buffers.
Results
Inventory accuracy reached 99.7% and oversell cancellations effectively disappeared.
